The NCBC is rapidly expanding its instrumentation for microscopic imaging. We currently have confocal and light sheet microscopes and soon will be adding two photon microscopes for in vivo and in vitro calcium imaging and one photon head-mounted miniscopes for freely moving in vivo calcium imaging. In addition, the NCBC can provide its users with other equipment to aid in the examination of neural circuits, such as a cryostat and tissue clearing equipment.
